Acquired this painting recently and although I don’t consider myself an art aficionado, there are certain things that grab my attention. The painting above was one of those things. Can’t say for sure but it may have something to do with the dark under/over-tones and the frame itself.
I know nothing of the painting and its artist as there is no signature anywhere and would like to know more about it. If anyone recognizes the painting, please fill me in on some details.
