The Haunting in Connecticut… 2?

Really, a sequel to a supposed movie that was “based on a true story”? This film, also being touted as a true story, doesn’t seem to have anything to do with the first film. As a matter of fact, the full title of the film is The Haunting in Connecticut: Ghosts of Georgia. Last time I checked Connecticut and Georgia are two different states. I can only hope that this is a working title? Either way, does not look all that appealing. Seems like they are just using the original film’s title as a selling point to the masses, one of which I’m not buying.

Must say that this is quite (very) disappointing as it is plagued with cheap sound effects and not-so scary stories (none at all!). As corny as a lot of these Halloween records are, this is one of the worse as little to no effort was put into even remotely trying to give us a scare. This one ranks up there among the crappiest!

What’s Halloween without a few games? Despite my not believing too much in the supernatural nor of things that go bump in the night, I would be completely devoid of an semblance of a human being if I could not admit to a good, scary “story” that sent chills down my spine.

Here is the rare Terror Tales by the Old Sea Hag LP. This is sure to scare t he crap out of any kid as  the old sea hag, played by Martha Wentworth, adamantly relates each story with vigor.

I recently “discovered” the ScyFy series, Paranormal Witness and must say that I was impressed being that it reminded me of the late show, and a personal favorite of mine, A Haunting. What really impressed me was an episode entitled, The Dibbuk Box which the film, The Possession is based on.
